Donald B. Chalfin,
MD, MS, FCCP, FCCM |
Dr. Chalfin is the founder of APPLIED DECISION CONCEPTS, LLC. He received his B.S. from the University of Pennsylvania with a major in Health Economics and his M.D. degree from the Mount Sinai School of Medicine of the City University of New York. He is board certified in both internal medicine and critical care medicine and also received his M.S. in health management from the Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service of New York University. Dr. Chalfin is the author of numerous peer review articles, scientific abstracts, and book chapters on a wide variety of pertinent topics, including cost-effectiveness analysis and the application of economic methods in clinical medicine, decision analysis, neural network analysis and artificial intelligence, and outcome assessment and predictive models. He has lectured extensively throughout North America and abroad, and is active in several professional societies and organizations. He also serves as a reviewer for several scientific journals. Dr. Chalfin currently is appointed as Associate Professor of Medicine at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine of Yeshiva University in New York. |
